How Miraculous Stories of Healing baskets of Prayer Can Help You In Your Walk of Faith

As a Christian, I struggled for many years with my faith. I knew that God was real, but I had a hard time understanding why bad things happened to good people. My church offered me some solace, but it wasn't until I read Harris Faulkner's book, Faith Still Moves Mountains: Miraculous Stories of the Healing Power of Prayer, that I really felt like I understood the power of prayer. 

In her book, Harris tells stories of people from all walks of life who have been healed from incurable diseases, arrived home safely from combat zones, and have had their prayers answered in myriad other ways. What I found most inspiring about Harris's book was her ability to show how everyday people are using prayer to change their lives for the better. 

One of my favorite stories in the book is about a woman named Angela who was diagnosed with stage three cancer. The doctors told her that she only had a few months to live and there was nothing they could do to save her. Angela's family was devastated by the news and they didn't know how they were going to cope with the loss. 

Angela decided to turn to prayer. She started praying for healing every day, even though she didn't know if it would work. Amazingly, within weeks of beginning her daily prayer regimen, Angela's tumor started shrinking. By the time she went back for her next doctor's appointment, her tumor was gone and she was completely healed. The doctors were baffled by her miraculous recovery and they had no explanation for it.
